I started my shop after I resigned from my job as a flight attendant for American Airlines. After we adopted our daughter, I decided to be a stay at home. I find it necessary for my personal sanity to keep busy, and I don't enjoy cleaning my house enough to fill my day :( Plus, I love to earn money....so I started searching for something I could create and sell (and do at home). As I was perusing Etsy, I noticed all of the quilt pattern designs that were selling their own original patterns. I thought, Hmmm, maybe I could do that? I designed my first pattern, and people really liked it. I continued to design and for the most part, people seem to like my patterns. From the comfort of my own home, I have been able to form my own business and stay very busy!! I am so happy doing what I love!! I have all of you to thank....THANK YOU!!

I have about 50 patterns and one book. My book is entitled "Quilts from Sweet Jane". Pretty much all of my patterns are written for precuts and fat quarters. I love working with precuts. I am good at putting patterns together, but putting colors together is not my strong suit. Luckily for me precuts take that element out of quilt making. I am able to make very pretty quilts with awesome fabric and precuts make it all possible for me! Of course you can buy fat quarter bundles as well, but you are getting a lot more fabric, i.e. at a lot higher cost.

I have two kids, Jane was born in 2005 and Jack was born in 2008. Jane is from China and Jack is from Taiwan. We are blessed to have two great kids, a comfortable home, a loving family! I am a very fortunate person. Thank you God!

Right now I have some ideas for more books, I have been submitting a few ideas to magazines, and I am going to set up a booth for Spring Market 2014 in Pittsburg. I have a lot on my plate, but lots of exciting things. How many hours are in a day?
